About the Author:

With roots deep in a small working-class rural Pennsylvania town, I learned at a young age that hard work would get you everywhere and that to find adventure, I had to go looking for it. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, with a semester of studying in Dublin, Ireland, firmly tucked under my belt. I moved to Washington, D.C., where I worked for many years in the non-profit sector honing my skills as a writer and editor for monthly publications. Today I live in suburban Maryland while I’m pursuing my dream of obtaining my Master of Fine Arts degree in Writing Popular Fiction at Seton Hill University. My degree is scheduled to be conferred in January 2011.

I’ve been writing romance since I was eleven years old when I distributed my first attempt at a Harlequin Romance manuscript to the captive audience of a bus-load of teenaged girls on a road trip with a Scottish fife and drum corps. Ever since, I’ve learned the importance of reader critique and response to an author’s work and the absolute necessity of a life-long pursuit of sharpening your writing craft. Writing a novel is a journey where an author gets to invite readers to join her on a story that’s exciting, fun, and full of adventure. Whether you’re a writer or a reader, you can indulge your need for romance, fantasy, action, adventure, and suspense by reading genre fiction. Where will your journey take you today?

I currently write paranormal romance where I lead you on a magical journey into a world you won’t soon forget. But I do love historical romance as well and my award-winning manuscript is a Regency-set historical.
